Makerspace

MAKERLAB UiTM is a makerspace that is tailored for higher education. It is currently located in Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR), UiTM Puncak Alam Campus. MAKERLAB is a place where UiTM academicians and students from any backgrounds can come to learn and hands-on technologies related to Industrial Revolution 4.0 such as computer programming, 3D printing, drone, virtual reality and Internet of Things (IoT). The mission is to create an open platform to encourage UiTM members to design, experiment, build, and explore all sorts of things using the available facilities. The programs and modules are parallel to support the university KPI's in teaching, research and innovation.

Makerspace for Education

  • A place where people from diverse backgrounds gather to work collaboratively to make things in innovative ways.

Makerspace in the Library

  • A library extention supporting adaptive and dynamics ways of learning in the era of distruptive technologies.

Makerspace for Enterprenuers

  • A space with shared facilities operate to initiate design thinking, practice action learning and inspire graduates to become socially innovative entrepreneurs.

Makerspace for Community

  • An integrative hub where academia-industry-community strive towards solving social problems by working on impactful programs.
