Social Technologies Engagement
The Centre for Innovative Delivery and Learning Development (CIDL) promotes the use of social technologies to enhance engagement, communication and collaboration within the learning environment. Through platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp and Telegram, educators and learners can connect, interact and share knowledge beyond the boundaries of the traditional classroom.
Social technologies provide opportunities for more interactive, accessible and flexible learning experiences. They enable educators to share learning resources, communicate with learners, facilitate discussions and encourage collaborative activities, while allowing learners to actively participate, exchange ideas and engage with learning content anytime and anywhere.
By integrating social technologies into teaching and learning, CIDL supports a connected learning environment that encourages participation, knowledge sharing and continuous engagement. This approach is aligned with the University's aspirations towards lifelong and online learning, where learning can be more accessible, flexible, interactive and meaningful for all.
