Augmented Virtual Learning (AVL) is an innovative learning delivery approach under the Centre for Innovative Delivery and Learning Development (CIDL) that integrates virtual learning environments and immersive technologies to enhance teaching and learning. AVL extends learning beyond the traditional classroom by providing flexible, interactive and engaging learning experiences.

Through technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), learners can explore virtual environments, interact with digital content and experience simulated real-world situations. AVL complements the role of lecturers and classrooms by creating wider opportunities for accessible, immersive and meaningful learning.

At Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), AVL supports the Education 5.0 aspirations through a balance of high-tech and high-touch learning. It encourages Hands-On, Heads-On and Hearts-On experiences, supporting lifelong and lifewide learning in an innovative and flexible environment.
